Dr. James Gosling
Generally credited as the inventor of the Java programming language, Dr. James Gosling created the original design of Java and implemented its original compiler and virtual machine. He was previously a VP & Fellow at Sun Microsystems, and he’s now Chief Software Architect at Liquid Robotics Incorporated. He has been a contributor to the Real-Time Specification for Java, and a researcher at Sun Labs where his primary interest was software development tools. He then was the Chief Technology Officer of Sun’s Developer Products Group and the CTO of Sun’s Client Software Group. He briefly worked for Oracle after the acquisition of Sun. After a year off, he worked at Google. |

Bill Vass
Bill Vass brings more than 30 years of commercial and U.S. government Information Technology executive leadership experience as an advisor to CumuLogic. Bill is currently President and Chief Executive Officer at Liquid Robotics Incorporated. Previously, Mr. Vass was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Sun Microsystem’s $1.4B Federal subsidiary. Before Sun Federal, Mr. Vass served as Chief Information Officer of Sun Microsystems, as well as Sun’s Chief Information Security Officer. |

He has been an author, innovator, inventor, lecturer and featured speaker on technology and media, large scale Internet computing, cloud computing and information security. Bud is the former Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for both Disney’s Interactive Media Group and for Walt Disney Corporate where he lead Disney’s Connected and Advanced Technologies (DCAT) team.
